Free Household Hazardous Waste Surrender

When: 9am – 1pm Sunday 4 May 2014
Where: Redland Performing Arts Centre car park, 2 – 16 Middle St, Cleveland
What to bring: household hazardous waste

Koala Community Planting

Sunday 4 May 2014

Join us for our annual Koala Community Planting, as we put 1000 plants in the ground to expand a creek corridor in Redland Bay. Stay afterwards for a sausage sizzle and take home a free native plant.

When: Sunday 4 May 2014, 9 – 11am
Where: Moogurrapum Creek Corridor, Main Street, Redland Bay
Bring: Enclosed shoes, sun protection and drinking water
Provided: Plants, equipment, sunscreen, gloves and a sausage sizzle

Council hosts free business workshop

ecoBiz Wednesday 7 May

Book now for this free workshop to find out how your business can save money by reducing water, waste and power costs.

EcoBiz is a free program funded by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, delivered by Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland and supported by the University of Southern Queensland and Australian Business Training Solutions.

Water meter readings

Time to pare back your pointy trees! We are reading water meters in Wellington Point, North Stradbroke, Perulpa, Lamb and Karragarra islands this week. Please make sure meter readers have clear access to your water meter.
