The location initially reported as the site of a possible pipe burst at Moreton Outlook turned out to be gushing stormwater so officers are continuing to investigate.

Russell Island residents with access to drinking water should fill water bottles and store water now in case of further supply disruption.

Those without water will be able to access a limited supply of bottled water for emergency purposes at the Evacuation Centre:
Where: Russell Island Recreation Hall, 1 Alison Crescent (near the ferry terminal)
When: 5.30 to 8.30pm tonight.
