A burst water main in Begonia Crescent, Mt Cotton has caused a water outage in the nearby streets.

Council crews are currently onsite and expect to have the main repaired over the next several hours.

Once water has returned affected residents will likely experience discoloured water. While safe, residents are encouraged to run the water until clear before using it.  Discoloured – or dirty – water may also occur in the morning as peak demand for water may stir up new sediment in the pipes.
