Council is encouraging everyone to take part in our City’s future by viewing the Draft City Plan 2015 and having their say during the public consultation, open until Friday 27 November.
Council has already spoken with more than 400 residents at 10 engagement sessions and there are plenty more opportunities coming up. To ensure everyone has a chance to see the plan, the comment period has been extended to 54 days – almost twice the statutory minimum of 30 business days required.
City Plan will become Redlands’ new planning scheme and Council’s blueprint for the future development of the city, once finalised and adopted.
As part of the engagement residents will be able to view details right down to street and lot level. There will be mail-outs, website and social media information, open houses at key mainland and island locations, local pop-ups and opportunities to book meet-the-planner sessions.
