Real-time readings from Cleveland’s new weather station have debuted on the ABC TV weather map. The Redlands first weather station opened on Monday 7 September, with the city first appearing on ABC TV’s nightly news weather map on Monday 21 September.
As a city of islands, the Redlands has its own weather patterns, unique from Brisbane’s weather. Accurate reports of local weather will improve how the city prepares for and responds to emergencies and inclement weather, such as severe storms.
