Have great ideas about Point Lookout Trails?

The Point Lookout coastal walks are a popular way for locals and visitors to enjoy North Stradbroke Island’s natural beauty.  This Saturday 13 September, Council is hosting a ‘call for ideas’ day at the Gorge Walk Trail head, Point Lookout.

The day is designed for people to share suggestions on creating a continuous, safe and enjoyable walking journey from Cylinder Beach to Main Beach. Your comments will help us develop concept plans about trail connections and improvements. You can talk to the project team, go for a walk with them and share what makes the trails special.

Drop in and see the team: 10am – 3pm at Gorge Walk trail head

Walk the trails:

10am– Walk the Cylinder and Deadman’s beach trails (Meet at the end of Hopewell Street).

1pm– Walk the Frenchman’s Beach Trail (Meet at the bottom of the staircase)

2pm-Walk the Gorge Walk (meet at trail head)

If you can’t make it on the day, you can also add your comments at http://yoursay.redland.qld.gov.au/point-lookout-trails  or call 07 3829 8999. The call for ideas is open until 20 September 2015.
