Emergency services are coming together to host a ‘Prepare, Act, Survive’ day at Point Lookout on Saturday 26 September 2015. From 10am – 2pm People can visit the Point Lookout Function Centre, East Coast Road, Point Lookout and meet with island land management agencies and emergency services representatives.
It will be a great opportunity for people to get advice on how the best prepare themselves and their property for bushfire threats, as well as being a fun community day.
So Straddie residents – come along, enjoy a free sausage sizzle, see Squirt the mini fire truck and learn how to keep you, your family and your property safe this storm and bushfire season.
